Protection of myself, my beloved and my house, my belongings

I have been using this spell for protection of myself, my beloved ones and my house. During meditation, breathing in I was drawing the energy of the universe and breathing out I was directing it into a bubble around myself or my friends, a bubble protecting from any sickness or harm - I did it for all my friends when we went on an exotic vacation and nothing happened to anyone. I protect my home imagining an invisible fence around it that will not let any negative force in. I protect my belongings and my car by imagining that they will stay in their place and that when I come back I find them in exactly the same place.

My book of shadows

I have changed the title of the blog from "A modern witch's diary" to "Book of shadows". This is because as I change, the blog will be changing and I decided to post everything online. I will both publish inspirational stuff I find on other websites as well as my own findings. I have actually had several diaries in my life, both hardcopy and electronical but this online blog is something I really love and find easy to use, I can access it whenever I want and it's immediately open to anyone interested in the topic, I find it wonderful that the technology today enables this kind of sharing of experiences. There is a lot of rubbish on the net but some sites and blogs are truly wonderful sources of witchy inspiration.

I am getting more and more powerful

I am quite convinced that my thoughts are more and more powerful, I really have to watch what I'm thinking. Last night I clearly remember desiring more money, actually just "having the cake and eating the cake". Yday I spent 300 euros for really great stuff for my magical home including beautiful candles but on the other hand I wish I also had this money. The first thing in the morning today I open my email and get my amex expense report and I find out that the internet company has been charging me extra money without my consent - the precise amount of 300 euros - money I will get back.

If I die

13/08/2009 Phi Phi Island
To witness a death of a person on an exotic holiday on a beautiful island makes you think. Terrifying as the scene may seem it is not in fact as terrifying as we might think, not for the person concerned. It's just the body that dies, you live on and painful as the process may seem it is actually a glorious transformation into another reality. The pain stays in the current reality and it is cast upon the ones who love us, so if I die, don't cry, of course I might not die for another 700 years if I take the monoatomic gold like the annunaki but if I do please just celebrate my glorious transformation into another dimension and send me loving thoughts because the real I will never die.

Seaside meditation with mantra

I developed this exercise while on vacation in Thailand, I was receiving a massage on the beach and this just naturally came to me. Breathing in I was thinking "I am", breathing out "Divine Power". Additionally when breathing in I was imagining the forces or energies from 3 directions being drawn to me, these were the forces from the sky, see and land. I was feeling that I was drawing them to me and that they were all united in a light, glowing sphere around me, Divine Power. I did this for the whole duration of the massage, I was then in a state of ultimate bliss.

Command other's subconscious

Concentration is power, most people think about thousands of things all the time without directing their energy into one particular thing, they don't even know that focusing on that particular thing for a short period of time but in an intense manner has the power of creation. This way if people are not controlling their subconscious somebody else might do it for them. Sounds like a fun game, yet "harm none".

27 ways to go out of your mind

Pause for a moment, close your eyes, and become aware of what’s happening in your mind. You’ll notice that you are engaged in a perpetual internal dialogue, interpreting and evaluating what has happened, is happening, or might happen to you. The mind has an astonishing capacity to hop from one idea to the next, and most people have an average of 60,000 thoughts each day. About 59,000 of these thoughts, however, are the same ones we had yesterday. We think and do things repeatedly, and then we wonder why it’s so difficult to create something new in our lives.

What is the alternative? Become intimate with the silent spaces between your thoughts. Beneath the mind’s noisy surface lies the domain of consciousness that gives rise to the judgments in your mind and the molecules in your body. We experience this field of pure awareness when we meditate, see a rainbow, hear an awe-inspiring piece of music, feel ecstatic love, taste a delicious food, or breathe in a beautiful scent. Whenever we have an experience beyond words –whenever we go out of our minds – we touch the unlimited dimension of our being and open ourselves to new and creative possibilities.

The Law of Giving & Receiving

The universe operates through dynamic exchange . . . giving and receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe. And in our willingness to give that which we seek, we keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives.
I will put the Law of Giving into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1. Wherever I go, and whomever I encounter, I will bring them a gift. The gift may be a compliment, a flower, or a prayer. Today, I will give something to everyone I come into contact with, and so I will begin the process of circulating joy, wealth and affluence in my life and in the lives of others.

2. Today I will gratefully receive all the gifts that life has to offer me. I will receive the gifts of nature: sunlight and the sound of birds singing, or spring showers or the first snow of winter. I will also be open to receiving from others, whether it be in the form of a material gift, money, a compliment or a prayer.

3. I will make a commitment to keep wealth circulating in my life by giving and receiving life’s most precious gifts: the gifts of caring, affection, appreciation and love. Each time I meet someone, I will silently wish them happiness, joy and laughter.

Bliss through bless

This must be bliss...
1. Gratitude: thank you for the extraordinary vacation, being able to see distant cultures, places and people, being able to broaden my understanding of the world.
2. Love (& gratitude again): thank you for the incredible, amazing Prince Charming I can share my life with and understanding Rumi's words that "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."
3. Spiritual growth and awakening (& gratitude): I am so happy that I have access to spirituality I seek and an incredible man that totally understands this and is there with me and for me.

I bless all these wonders that make me feel so blissful.
